EBTV programming is entirely dependent upon our volunteer reporters, producers, and hosts. We could not produce 200 hours of original programming every year without them. What do we look for in a volunteer?
- On-camera presence! EBTV puts our volunteers in front of the camera – not behind it! Being reasonably comfortable “on-camera” is the first requirement.
- Interest in our community. We cover local news and events. We need volunteers who are interested in the people, places, and resources of this town and our immediate neighbors.
- Ability to interview. Here’s your chance to get behind the scenes and ask the experts the questions, face-to-face. Can you prepare a list of questions on a topic that interests you?
- Reliability and dependability. We need our volunteers to be on time and ready to report.
EBTV has earned a reputation for professionalism, thanks in large part to the outstanding talent and dedication of our volunteers. If you would like to join the volunteer crew, please call David Ambrosy at 732-390-6780. Be sure to complete a Library Volunteer Application, too!
