EAST BRUNSWICK—East Brunswick Public Library and the Friends of the East Brunswick Environment Commission are teaming up to present the program “What You Should Know About Plastic.” The program is held at the library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:00 pm.

The workshop is hosted by Erin Stache, an assistant professor of chemistry at Princeton University. She will go into great detail on all things plastic, including how it is made, the significance of resin identification codes, and practical recycling guidelines.

“What You Should Know About Plastic” is presented as part of the Option Green series. Established in 2017, the programming series highlights environmental issues and their impact. The partnership is a three-time winner of the Environmental Achievement Award from the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions.
The program can be watched in-person in the library’s meeting room 3 or online. To register to watch on Zoom, go to www.tinyurl.com/eb102925.
