Join Creature Comfort Pet Therapy to learn about the power of pet therapy, hear how animals and their owners become volunteer teams and experience the calming effects from Creature Comfort volunteers and their loving dogs. You will be able to interact with live animals at this program. Open to all ages.
Join us to create and decorate a lotus lantern.
Ages 13 and up.

Itadakimasu Cooking Demo:
Free yoga classes for students in grades 7-12. Join Ms. Joanne, a certified yoga instructor, for this free class located in the YS Programming room from 7 pm until 8 pm. Please bring a yoga mat or towel to class.

An online Chess club for Beginners will be held during Spring 2022.
8 meetings on every Thursday @ 4-5 p.m. from Mar. 3rd to Apr 21st .
We will go through the curriculum from Chesskids.com, watching videos and solving puzzles.
This club is targeted to school age kids with no prior experience in playing chess.
They will pick up the basic rules and strategies of playing chess.

Kids in kindergarten and up are welcome to make some beautiful scratch art designs on woodland animal shapes. You can create your art at the library or take a kit to complete at home. One kit per participant, as supplies last.
Please note: This program is for children who are in kindergarten and up. This kit contains a pointy plastic stylus and is not appropriate for younger children.
Kids in 3rd grade and up are invited to learn how to cross stitch. You can attend in person or pick up a kit to complete at home. We will be cross stitching on wooden hearts to make a small hanging ornament that would be perfect to keep as a decoration or give as a gift. One kit per participant, as supplies last.
Please note: This program is for children in 3rd grade and older. This kit comes with a plastic sewing needle. It is not appropriate for younger children.
Shreya D., teen volunteer extraordinaire, will demonstrate how to extract DNA from a strawberry. Shreya will go through the process and give you the instructions to try on your own at home!
For children in grades 4-6.
