October is Bullying Prevention Month

Bullying: It's Not OK – From healthychildren.org, this is a great overview of what bullying is, how it affects kids, and how to help kids who are being bullied, bullies, and bystanders.

Bullying Warning Signs -- Not everyone will ask for help, so it’s important to recognize the signs that indicate someone is being bullied.  From the National Alliance on Mental Illness, this article covers warning signs that a child who is being bullied or bullying someone else may show, as well as tips for helping kids resist bullying and what to do if they witness bullying.

Dealing with Bullies – From KidsHealth, an article for kids about what to do if you or a friend are being bullied.
