Repair Cafe at EBPL

Sunday, January 26, 1:00-4:00pm

The East Brunswick Public Library and the East Brunswick Sustainability Task Force want you to keep still usable items out of landfills. They are holding their first ever Repair Café at the library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) on Sunday, January 26 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

A Repair Café is a community-based initiative to promote repairing household items instead of throwing them out. Community members can bring in items in need of repair to be fixed on the spot thanks to the help of some volunteer repairers.

Mental Health Awareness Table

Stop by the library's Mental Health Awareness Health Table May 12-23, 2025 in the library lobby as we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month.

We will be sharing mental health information resources for children, teens and adults, the ways to reduce stress and improve your overall well-being.

East Brunswick Mental Health Task Force is the co-sponsor of the event.

ALS Awareness Week Health Table

Stop by the library's ALS Awareness Table May 5-11 in the library lobby as we commemorate ALS Awareness Week. We are creating awareness about Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.  This is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. Roughly 1 in 400 people will develop ALS in their lifetime.
