How it works:
To bring awareness to Banned Books Week (September 22-28, 2024), for the month of September, any teen who reads a banned book will earn a raffle ticket! Not sure which books are banned? Check the poster in the teen space, ask a librarian, or look online for suggestions!
For every book you read, grab a raffle ticket, fill it out, and hand it in at the desk in the children’s section.

Attention Teen Readers!
Now is the time to have your voices heard. Have you come across a new book (published from August 2023 to July 2024) that's a real page-turner? One you think other teens would like it, too? Nominate that book for YALSA's Teens Top 10, where you and other teens’ voices are the only ones that matter.
